About This Site

Swatchel is a site for searching model paint color samples across brands and comparing nearby colors and base-color differences. Because RGB / CMYK values are often not published for model paints, Swatchel samples colors from painted reference images on black, gray, and white bases, then converts them to RGB / CMYK / HEX / Lab values. These color values are estimates, so please use them as reference information when choosing paints.
